Fall 2021 Update

With the summer ending and my first semester of grad school in the rear view, I could not be happier with my decision to get a masters. Since my last update, I was able to accomplish all my goals.
1. I joined the computational nuclear engineering research group at UT under Dr. Kevin Clarno.
2. I got hands on experience using machine learning as a data science intern at Primary Services.
3. I placed in the finals or semifinals in all 3 of the start up pitch competitions I entered.
4. Oh wait! I didn't update the website visually! Oh well, nobody is perfect.

January 2021 Update

Great news! I was just admitted to graduate school at UT for mechanical engineering. I am very excited to further my education at my alma mater. Currently, I'm taking robotics and renewable energy classes. This semester I have a lot of goals!
1. Join a research group at UT.
2. Get an internship for the summer.
3. Win the two start up competitions I'm participating in.
... and maybe make the website more visually appealing!

May 2020 Update

I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a mechanical engineering degree. I decided to pursue my newfound interests in coding and am currently taking courses at UT to complete a computer science minor. During this time, I have applied to grad school at the engineering department with a concentration in Dynamic Systems and Controls with a focus on machine learning and autonomous machines. I am seeking full-time positions and internships in related fields.

What's on This Website?

I have a wide swath of interests, as you can probably tell from my projects tab. These interests include mechanical design and analysis, dynamic systems and control, manufacturing, automation, machine learning, alternative fueled vehicles, finance, and the oil and gas industry. Please take some time to peruse these projects if you are so inclined.

FUN FACT: During high school I was a state champion cyclist!

NOT SO FUN FACT: After a car hit me during a training ride, I decided to hang up my racing kit. Fortunately, I only received minor injuries and continue to ride for pleasure to this day. I plan to return to racing one day

My current obsessions include basketball and freeride skiing (pictured middle). I have captained a few intramural teams at UT, but my favorite intramural experience was playing for the Bengali Student Association (pictured top right).
